5 key dates for MediaGo :
2010 Christophe Rasch founded ProTV Ventures SA with the Théma (Paris) company contributing to its capital. They participated in the first recapitalisation of the La Télé television channel.
2012 The VTX company and entrepreneur Louis-Pierre Roger acquired stakes in the company’s capital.
ProTV Ventures bought out the Tamedia press group’s shares in La Télé. The company also took a stake in Ecran Pub SA, La Télé’s advertising management company.
2015 ProTV Ventures was split into two separate entities: digital marketing and media management.
2016 ProTV Ventures SA, reinforced by experts in several fields, became MediaGo SA.
2017 MediaGo creates and develops CNNMoney Switzerland.
A journalist by training, graduate in Broadcast Media from UCLA and the Scandinavian International Management Institute (SIMI), Christophe worked for many years at Télévision Suisse romande (TSR, RTS), where he presented the television news and was correspondent in the United States. He is the only Swiss journalist to have interviewed Steve Jobs. In 1999, he created the digital pole at French-speaking television before putting the channel’s first Internet site online.
Christophe went on to take responsibility for business development for Edipresse, the French-speaking Swiss media group, before founding La Télé, a television station covering news in the Cantons of Vaud and Fribourg. Christophe was also a member of the Federal Media Commission.
Florent specialises in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social networks, e-commerce, referencing, web design, ergonomics, community manager) and has over amassed 15 years’ experience in the field. Florent Adam teaches courses at CREA, the bellwether school in Geneva in the marketing, communication and digital fields. He has also been awarded Google adwords certification. Florent is in charge of Clarins Switzerland and manages the development of Romandie Formation (Centre patronal) digital strategy.
Yves-Claude has an MBA from the Institute for Management Development (IMD) and a CFPI diploma as financial analyst and wealth manager. He began his career in 1987 as a trader with Banque cantonale vaudoise (BCV). In 1994, he opened BCV’s first branch office abroad (Singapore). In 1999, he created E-Sider.com, one of the very first online brokers, before launching the Yellowtrade.ch brokerage site for BCV and La Poste. From 2003 to 2006, Yves-Claude was BCV’s Deputy CEO. In 2006, he became an independent consultant to businesses with a focus on innovation.
Andreas Meili’s main fields of activity are focused on legislation and laws relating to the media, telecommunications, advertising, companies, contracts, intellectual property and information technology. He has been responsible for many publications about the media sector. Before setting up his Meili l Pfortmüller law firm, Andreas Meili was a member of the Management Board of the Tamedia Group at which he was Director of the Electronic Media division and Director of the Legal Services Department; in that capacity, he was involved in the group’s expansion by steering major acquisition and consolidation deals.
Andreas Meili currently sits on several Boards of Directors, including those of WerbeWeischer Schweiz, Mediaprocessing and the Swiss Forum for Communications Law. He also lectures at the MAZ – Swiss School of Journalism – and at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
After studying at the HEC in Paris, François created Fashion TV and headed up MCM International and Subsidiaries. In 2005, he founded the Thema TV group, which supplies content to TV operators and runs over 100 channels worldwide.
Michel Croibier is a specialist in architecture and deployment of Online and Broadcast solutions. Web and mobile broadcasting, Media Asset Management, Content Management Systems, video archiving, real-time data (Elections, weather, sports, finance, news…).
He’s been working for some of the largest broadcasters and non-media companies in Europe and Middle-East: Eurovision / European Broadcasting Union, SSR-SRG Swiss National broadcaster, Nestlé, Hewlett Packard, International Olympic Committee, Al Arab (News TV – Bahrain), Medi 1 TV (Morocco), Euronews, Orange, CNN Money Switzerland.
Specialist in communication-marketing with extensive experience of communication strategies.
Co-founder of a start-up dedicated to digital communication. She was Head of Communication at the Olympic Museum and International Olympic Committee and Director of Communication at the Lausanne Palace & Spa (Leading Hotels of the World – Sandoz Foundation Hotels). Sawi and International Advertising Association training. Member of Swiss Communication (KS/CS), Swiss Public Relations Association (ASRP) and French-speaking Swiss Public Relations Society (SRRP).
She has dual bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Communications from Polycom Academy (SAWI Academy of Marketing & Communication Group) in Lausanne and SUP de PUB (Inseec School of Communication) in Paris. Pamela completed her training by obtaining a Swiss Federal Certificate as a Public Relations Specialist in parallel with her employment.
After gaining her first career experience in the marketing departments of a communications and advertising management agency, she was responsible for management and coordination of communications projects for Nyon town council before joining the MediaGo team.
After taking her degree in marketing and communication at the Paris School of Business, Marjorie held several posts at the VTX Telecom Group. In particular, she became Product Manager with parallel responsibility for management of the Group’s web projects and supervision of the AdWords and SEO (Analytics) campaigns. At MediaGo Marjorie manages clients’ digital projects.
Kristina has always looked for new challenges and has traveled between Valais where she grew up, Angers for her university studies in information and communication sciences, and Paris and Geneva, where she was an assistant director in the film and television industry.
She continued her career as SEO Officer and Community Manager at a language travel agency and then became Social & Digital Media Manager for Montreux-Vevey Tourisme, one of the first positions of its kind in a Swiss tourism office.
It was at Palexpo where she consolidated her multidisciplinary skills and defined the social networking strategies for many events.
When she is not in front of her MAC or smartphone, Kristina practices archery, does crafts, and is passionate about movies, TV shows, and video games.
Antoine holds a Swiss Federal diploma in web project management and has been passionate about new technologies, especially the digital world, for the past 15 years: websites, design, strategy, advertising, monetisation and social networks. Antoine has a wide range of skills needed to implement his clients’ projects successfully. His role is to facilitate the client’s life, interpret his needs, provide the necessary advice to optimize his strategy and define his projects down to the last detail.
After his business administration studies in Geneva, Frederic started a career in marketing at Red Bull. As of 2010, he gains further experience in corporate finance and business development by managing web projects at Cofis SA, a group specializing in financial engineering and real estate project management in Switzerland and Europe, or at BCV, the sixth-largest banking group in Switzerland. In 2014, Frederic launches Rostigraben, an online media company that produces original content to stimulate and promote social, economic and entrepreneurial activities in Switzerland.
After graduating with a degree in Brand Strategy from Sup de Pub Paris, Thery was involved in setting up a communications agency in which he was active for 3 years. In 2015, he joined the Vini Toscani business in the Canton of Vaud as Marketing Manager. He modernised its communications and developed the business. At MediaGo, he heads up the Digital Project at the Centre Patronal (Central Employers Association).
After studying communication in Lyon, Florian began his career as press attaché for Signé2000, the organising committee for the Year 2000 festivities of the City of Geneva. He then became a producer for Force Promotion, the advertising pool serving local French-speaking Swiss TV stations and obtained his diploma as PR journalist with the Léman Bleu television channel. Florian went on to cooperate with RTS and Canal Onex, before joining the editorial board of Nyon Région Télévision in 2011.
Working for Nyon Région Télévision for many years, Greg tried his hand at all the media trades before becoming a programme director today. He is also in charge of broadcasting technology and circulation. He has worked as cameraman, reporter, film/video editor and presenter.
Taking a passionate interest in the media since an early age and holding a degree in political science from the University of Lausanne, Nasrat worked for Lausanne FM before taking charge of news at One FM in Geneva. He then became Editor-in-Chief of the la Télé regional TV station for more than two years.
Currently a journalist-intern at NRTV, Andrea is responsible for the “NRTV culture” broadcast. Each week, she presents cultural news for the Nyon district. Before that, Andrea was an intern with La Télé and Canal Alpha. She has a bachelor’s degree in information and communication sciences and in ethnology.
